Procurement Coordinator

About the Role

ABC Digital Solutions is looking for a proactive and detailoriented Procurement Coordinator to join our Logistics & Procurement team.

This is a dynamic, fastpaced role that sits at the heart of our business operations. While the primary focus is procurement, the role also involves supporting internal teams and handling enquiries, so strong communication skills—particularly over the phone—are essential.

You will be responsible for ensuring orders are processed accurately, suppliers are coordinated effectively, and queries are handled efficiently, helping the business run smoothly day to day.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the ordering of parts, consumables, and other businesscritical items
  • Process purchase requests accurately and in a timely manner
  • Maintain procurement systems, ensuring data accuracy and consistency
  • Liaise with suppliers regarding pricing, availability, and delivery schedules
  • Track orders and proactively resolve any issues or delays
  • Provide a high level of service to internal stakeholders
  • Ensure all procurement activity is clearly documented and compliant with internal processes
  • Support supplier checks and cost comparisons to ensure best value
  • Contribute to improving procurement processes and overall efficiency

Key Skills & Experience

  • Previous experience in procurement, purchasing, or administrative support
  • Confident and professional telephone manner (essential)
  • Strong attention to detail and high levels of accuracy
  • Experience using internal systems such as ERP, CRM, or ticketing platforms
  • Good understanding of the purchasing lifecycle
  • Strong organisational and timemanagement skills
  • Ability to prioritise workload in a fastpaced environment
  • Comfortable balancing administration with peoplefacing responsibilities
